Ez-Mail is fully functional except the root account can not edit the message sent once to new users, name the system, or create/delete newsgroups. Please read the 'Ez-Mail password information' file for obtaining the password and login for root.

Ez-Mail was written for the K-12 community. There are many classrooms which have only one computer and no phone line. Quite often the phone line is in the library. Ez-Mail does not utilize a phone line or modem. All of the email generated in the program remains on the system. Ez-Mail is a supplement for teachers who want to introduce some aspects of telecomputing to their students, but do not have a phone line or modem in their classroom.
Ez-Mail 1.5 supports newsgroups! Users can read and post messages in newsgroups.
Ez-Mail is fairly easy to use. Here is some help (Other help is available in Ez-Mail):
The Root account: The password for the root account is 'testing'. (Naturally, the login is 'root'.)
Only the root account can add, delete, change users, add newsgroups, or delete newsgroups. Also, the root account names the system (i.e. you can customize the name of the email service, for example: Mr. Smith's Electronic Email, English Teacher.) However, the system name can not be changed until the user sends in the shareware fee. Upon receipt of the fee, a password will be sent back. All of the other above features are enabled!
The Root account is also respnsible for the 'new user's message' sent once to every new user. A password is required for this feature is required and will be sent upon receipt of the shareware fee.
The Root account is the only active account. To begin using Ez-Mail, login using 'root' and for the password use 'testing'. Once you login you are able to change the Root password. Now you are able to create other active accounts.
All other accounts: Other accounts use their login and password generated for them by the root account to logon to Ez-Mail. These accounts are able to change their password, read/write mail, and get a list of users who have accounts on the system.
